Physiotherapy is the use of movement to return you to full, painless function.
Movement can be achieved through soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, exercise prescription, dry needling or pilates.
Our aim is to quickly reduce your pain while resolving your injury and rectifying any dysfunction that injury may have caused.
Why choose a Chartered Physiotherapist?
Total Physio is fully accredited and affiliated with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and several of their clinical interest groups including the Sports and Exercise Medicine group and the Private Practitioners group. Jenny has served for many years on the committees of the CPSEM.
These committees are integrally involved in the development of each subspecialty of physiotherapy in Ireland.
The title “physiotherapist” alone is not evidence of a formal qualification in physiotherapy.
Chartered Physiotherapists are health professionals allied to the medical profession and have completed a four year university degree before specialising in postgraduate education in their chosen field.
The governing body for Chartered Physiotherapists is the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). All Chartered Physiotherapists must complete continuous professional development and submit evidence of same to the ISCP annually, to ensure up to date knowledge and competence.
Each one of our physiotherapists is a member of the ISCP (MISCP) and fully insured. All of our pilates instructors are also Chartered Physiotherapists. Your body has to last you a very long time, so only trust a Chartered Physiotherapist to assess and treat you.
