BSc (Physiotherapy), MISCP
Liam qualified with Honours in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin. He has worked extensively in private practice, and is well experienced in treating a wide range of injuries such as back and neck pain, tendinopathies, knee pain and sporting injuries. His post-graduate experience includes 6 months in Santry Sports Surgery Clinic rehabilitating clients following joint reconstruction and replacement surgeries. He provided post-operative care, gait re-education, early mobilisation and developed exercise programmes to ensure optimal recovery.
Liam experienced life as an elite rugby player in the Leinster academy at U18, U19, U20s levels. He then returned after graduation to work with the Leinster U18s schools team. Experiencing rugby from both sides was a great opportunity for Liam to enhance his skills in communicating with coaches and players alike, as well as developing further insight into strength and conditioning and the rehabilitation of his athletes. Liam continues to put these skills to great use working with Clontarf RFC.
Liam uses a range of treatments including dry needling, joint mobilisation and myofascial trigger point release. He tailors all of his sessions to meet the needs and goals of the individual, but his ultimate goal is to help people maintain a pain free lifestyle and achieve optimal performance following injury.
